Fab. Blessed with the weather great coastal walks. Keep a close eye on children as you can be quite close to the edge. Go there
The wife decided we should visit this place & i wasn't looking forwards to it one bit. I have to admit, i was wrong. I loved the whole experience. Who thought that touring a lighthouse could be so interesting, but the staff were so knowledgeable & enthusiastic that it was a brilliant experience. The only negative thing i have to say is 'do not be foolish enough to purchase a hot drink from the gift shop - it was horrendous'. Everything else gets top marks
Great place visit Take the tour of light house well worth extra cash.Down side is parking, if not National Trust member will cost a lot.Catherine's tour is great as she is local lighthouse keeper.
The lighthouse is a great place to learn about Trinity House and the things that happen to help people navigate the seas. Once you've visited the lighthouse it's also nice to wander down to the point, have an ice cream, follow along the path for a nice walk with some beautiful views and even visit another little "hut" that has lots of telecommunication information!
This place is brilliant. Stunning views, great history lesson for all ages. 3 generation's with us and everyone loved it. Lovely (and slightly weird flavoured) ice creams there also.
