What a Lovely quiet retreat with peaceful views great places to visit and glorious beaches and coves. Nice tidy site, would come again. Also really nice owners.
A hidden gem of a site. If you are looking for a large site with club house etc then this is not for you but if you are looking for a small site with lovely static caravans and good facilities for camping or caravaning then this is just the place. It's friendly and intimate and the owners (Steve and Louise ) are very welcoming. The recently refurbished shower block is lovely for those who are camping and the kitchen (with fridge and freezer )is a great idea for those in tents. There is a washing machine and drier too. The undercover area is also a good idea for those who are staying under canvas. There is also a play area for children which is well used.The caravans are comfortable and spotlessly clean. This is a great place for relaxing and also a good base for exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall. We will definitely be returning next year.
Lovely small little place with nice clean facilities. Nice it's not a big plot so feels more private.
We recently stayed at Poldown in one of the Premium caravans. The caravans and site are immaculately kept. Steve and Louise the owners were fantastic and very welcoming. As we have 2 young kids they set up a baby swing for us on the park so they could both have a go on the swings. There are laundry facilities on site, although we didn't make use of these. The addition of a small washing line outside the caravan would be really handy. Kids loved it and so did we. Thanks for an amazing week!!! We will definitely be back next year!!!
Just returned from a week here. A small site where you feel so relaxed. There is a lovely attmosphere so you can really chill out. Steve and Louise really do make you feel very welcome. The birdsong is amazing both in the morning and at night. Site is well situated with lots to do and great places to eat/drink. Facilities on site are excellent and caravans cleaned to a very high standard. Can't wait to return. Highly recommend this site to all.
