Good value for money, plenty of spaces, friendly atmosphere. campsite for tents and vans plus hostel and b&b.

Beautiful quiet location. A bit noisey if near road but otherwise absoulty fine. Tom was very friendly and helpful with heaps of local knowledge. If going to St Ives I suggest using train park and ride from Lelant saltings Station. Minack theatre nearby well worth the visit. Overall a very enjoyable and fun visit in a great location at a fantastic price. Ps WiFi is exceptional! Will defiantly be back again.

This is such a great place to camp. The owner, Tom, has created such a relaxed and welcoming place. The location is absolutely ideal for visiting the stunning Cornish coastline.

Tom was friendly and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed for our last minute stay. Due to potentially poor weather he offered us a stay in the bunk house - it was great to have this option if the weather turned bad. The site was lovely and rural, perfect for proper camping, with lots of room to spread out and play some games. The site is approx 45 min walk / 5 minute drive to Porthleven where there is loads to do. We would recommend the ship in for a drink (great atmosphere ) and you can eat fish and chips watching people jump into the harbour.

Stayed here in November with 3 other guys for a surf trip. Tom was kind to let us in when we arrived late on a Friday and gave us a tour around. The barn however was freezing cold and we had to put 1 coins into a machine for electricity and a few heaters that didn't have much effect. The room was very simple, one big room with circa 15 mattresses most of them wrapped in plastic, I guess for the convenience of cleaning. The room was also very humid. At 15 per night, no breakfast, it wasn't exactly cheap. We were provided with a sleeping bag, a liner and a pillow, which was 7 per night, which was a bit steep. When we raised this with Tom, he explained about the labour of providing the linen, hence the price. The following day we had a discussion about our experience, and Tom was sorry about our experience and offered a full discount. Further, he understood that we were disappointed with our experience. We took a small discount, and for this and Tom genuinely being open to our feedback, I give the Granary Barn 3 stars. I hope they use the feedback in a constructive way.
