After being disappointed several times looking for a caf in Helston which served a vegan option, we were surprised that Hellys Tea Rooms served not just one vegan option, but several. The waitress was so friendly and, being vegan herself, was so understanding and helpful. The food was delicious, and the coffee amazing, with three plant milk options to choose from. We definitely recommend this caf for welcoming vegan patrons in such a warm and friendly way. Thank you.
Cannot fault this tearoom...many so called " quirky" tearooms don't deliver on the plate or by way of service..! Hello's is great value, well served food and the ambience is...quirky! My wife and I visited for lunch yesterday. The best BLT I have ever been served and the "savoury " tea my wife had was exemplary in both presentation and taste... pleasant, friendly , knowledgeable staff and the overall menu should have something to please most tastes...this tearoom doesn't pretend to be something it's not....if I am in Helston again, it would be my only choice for food on a plate...for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea...well done to all involved with the running of this cafe..
