Only called in for coffee but we enjoyed visiting this historic pub. It really does feel as though you are going back in time. It had just been taken over by new management and we were told they have plans to improve the facilities while retaining the history.
Very comfortable atmosphere. Great food, good beer and dog friendly. The quiz night on Tuesdays is competitive and really good fun. Highly recommended.
Really nice food and great service. The staff were brilliant as we were booking a meal in advance and they were really helpful and prepared. We had a really nice time.
A must for anyone in the area!A quaint pub that serves 5 star food, any day of the week. A dog friendly pub with friendly staff is a perfect stop for families or friends. The menu offers locally sourced foods and a wide range of dishes. Sunday lunch is to die for and the portion sizes are perfect. Starters, Mains and Deserts are all faultless and homemade. The only thing that will pass your lips that is mass produced is the beer.
