Had the Sunday lunch here .great value and very nice. Staff so friendly and helpful .highly recommended .
Lovely food, great atmosphere but please don't go there if you don't expect to stay the entire evening. Our table was booked for 8 o'clock, finally got starters at 9 o'clock. Mains arrived just before 10 o'clock.... still it was a great night with good service from front of house staff.
Great location and great service, but the food is a little off the mark. We had oysters to start which were tasty but really really really small. The tempura ones are subsequently more tempura than they are oyster. 2 out of the 3 scallops we had were also tiny, the chef needs to adapt the cooking times to the smaller ones as both were well over-done in comparison to the normal sized one which was perfect. If the seafood in is under-sized it would be good to either up the portion size or reduce the price. The mains we had were ok. The Nut Roast was a little brittle and under done, but the trimmings were really really good. For 10 no real complaints. The Hake was over cooked and grossly over priced (20!) for what is a plate of average food and a small fish portion. Overall its an ok meal in a great setting, better options available elsewhere in the harbour.
Great place. Awesome service and made very welcome. The place was buzzing. A wedding going on, full service and the staff were rocking it. Sat and chilled out smashing the cocktails for an hour before we went to our table. Well looked after.. food was delicious. Wine delightful. Price ok. All in all well worth a visit.
Lots of wonderful drink options to try, (got recommended a spicy cocktail which was unlike anything I've had before! Really delicious and refreshing).Food was gorgeous - Soft shell crab bun was especially heavenly and the steak main was cooked to perfection. Everything came out in great time and the staff were ever so attentive and polite. Been here a few times before and it's never failed to produce a great evening!
