Just had my first kayaking experience, brilliant !! Thank you Ian for a fantastic morning.
In a word- brilliant! We did a Stand Up Paddleboarding lesson with Ian and all really enjoyed it. Our crew of 4 adults and 6 kids ranging from 11 to 16 were all novices and only a couple of the kids had paddleboarded before. Ian was the perfect instructor; knowing how far to push us and no pressure on those that just wanted to stay on their feet. It was a bit daunting being in the harbour with people looking on, but you soon forget them. Kids that I thought would struggle, really got into it. The wetsuits supplied meant that we didn't get cold. I went in twice, no biggy. Ian even had us trying to do headstands on the boards in the end... so much fun! Would thoroughly recommend. If you're thinking about it - DO IT! Carpe diem!
Ian is a wonderful guide very knowledgeable about local area and conditions. He was considerate of guest needs. Plus all gear was in good condition. Finally trip began straight away, no boraring overly complicated intro.
A magical overnight kayaking trip... feel more confident kayaking, had fun and we met dolphins! Ian is a warm, trustworthy, knowledgeable and patient guide - we will be back soon I hope for more
