I've known Claire a long time, my band used to tour Cornwall including Porthleven where Claire Francis has her hat workshop: Salt Cellar Workshops, Salt Cellar Hill, Porthleven, Cornwall TR13 9DP saltcellarhats.co.uk. She designs and makes all her hats & seems to get the design right every time. I have about 10 now & love every one. Not sure why she isn't known more nationally & internationally...she is a treasure...GO there & try some hats on, there's a hat style for everyone....
So much fun, so many gorgeous hats to try. Fabrics piled high in a wonderful workshop with a backdrop of Porthleven harbour through the windows. I keep buying hats, how can I resist.
