My doctor is wonderful. Nurses are lovely. Sometimes a bit of a wait but that can't be helped. I never take for granted that I can see or speak to a doctor for free. Have also used the online consultancy recently and that was very good service too.
Today asked for a doctor to telephone me and to save surgery time. Phoned at 9.30am approx. Was told would be phoned within the hour. At 3.10pm phoned again and was told I due a phone call at 3.15pm. watch this space.
I turned up in helston on the Friday, called to sign myself and children (a 13 year old and a two week old) into this surgery on the Monday morning and we were all seen on the same day, the staff were understanding, friendly and helpful and the doctors were very patient and gave fantastic health care - plus advice. I honestly couldn't recommend them highly enough!
Having seen the low rating of the surgery I just had to make a comment. Considering the enormous pressure the staff are under my family and I have always received excellent treatment. The appointment system is frustrating on occasions but they are extraordinarily busy. A big thanks to all of them.
I can't recommend this place highly enough.Last year they had me in an ambulance and on my way to A and E within 30 minutes because they picked up a potentially life threatening condition at a routine appointment. The staff are excellent, polite, courteous and caring; not only that but they deserve much more respect and recognition than they seem to be getting here.It's a busy surgery and a lot of people are rude, selfish and extremely ignorant, yet they deal with it all with high levels of professionalism. Dear Haters, get over yourselves and recognise what these people do for you. Try getting this level of care, FOR FREE, in any other country and then complain about the service here.
